Undergraduate Majors & Requirements

Student

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry offers two majors and five different degree pathways which are listed below. Detailed information on the program requirements can be found in the UCSC General Catalog and the handbooks for each major. To declare your major, please meet with the Academic Preceptor from your college and complete Section I of the Declaration of Major form.
